It's already September and it seems like bands have been working their a** off all summer to give us some fresh sounds to dance on. Clap Your Hands, Say Yeah! just released a new album, Real Estate amazed us with their brand new tunes and Justice just got their new video out.
Except that working so long on a project doesn't always give the result you expect.
Yes, I am a huge fan of JUSTICE. Who isn't really? We all loved the great opera-disco tune "Dance" or the deep electro sounds of "Genesis".
But let me say that I've been well disapointed by the French Duo on their latest track and video called "Audio, Video, Disco".
It's like a dance rock tune that starts well for the first thirty seconds and end up by being a total mistery.
Kind of a "too easy-too lazy" track for the two talented Frenchies. The thing is that the song will probably manage to become a hit more than a miss simply because it's JUSTICE.
Light up keyboards, dogs and studio recordings are involved in the video but it's not making it any better!
I guess it must be hard to stay on top and keep producing massive hits for most of the artists, but if each track of your last album is gold, you literally have the duty to create something as good as the past one or even better.
Then again you can't really judge them on one song and they obviously are and will always be TrUe OuTsIdErs!
But someone tells me what happened to the old JUSTICE with crazy attitude, funk and cool beats?!
My prayers are going to Ed Banger Records!
Please Ed Banger, do something about it and don't let this happen again, thank you.
See for yourself anyway, as it's only my opinion and I'm a weirdo!
