WHO IS SLEIGH BELLS?

Derek.E.Miller and Alexis Klaus are the two members of SLEIGH Bells.

Not really a common name for the duo from Brooklyn but let's put it that way, if you're an unsual group of musicians you better have an unusual name. People tend to like the awkwardness of things nowadays anyway, guess they think it can make you look cooler somehow. My point is SLEIGH BELLS isn't the greatest band name but you know what, they make good music and at the end it's all that matters.

I remember wondering how you could be called Arctic Monkeys and create such great tunes?
Oh Well...Apologies for my strange way of thinking.

After touring with CSS, the band started getting well known for their cool style and their typical lo-fi way of making songs.With an upcoming "emotionally heavy" album full of powerful pop tunes, SLEIGH BELLS is the band to watch.

Thought Lily Allen was singing first time I heard the track "Rill Rill", but I was wrong. It was only Alexis sort of high pitched voice and her Jessie J look-alike style. Somehow they still managed to make the song their own and create a great tune with a sweet melody. Probably one of their best one.

At the end, that is what SLEIGH BELLS is all about, making sweet lo-fi tunes that we'll all enjoy listening to after dancing on WISE BLOOD too much or being depressed on JOY DIVISION.
